Gstaad Palace

The Gstaad Palace opened on December 8, 1913 as the Palace Hotel and has been owned by the Scherz family since 1947. Today, Andrea Scherz runs the hotel in the third generation. The hotel has 90 rooms and suites, after original units were combined, and opens across two seasons: summer and winter, with a break in between.

For weddings, the Salle Baccarat with its terrace is available, among other spaces, and the hotel says it handles the entire detailed organization, from the menu to floral decoration and the limousine. The hotel's own GreenGo and several restaurants allow for a multi-day stay where everything stays on site. The Alp Walig mountain hut, at 1,700 meters, also belongs to the property and can be used for smaller events as part of a wedding weekend.
